Profession Ethic

Today is the submission day for Construction Technology 2 assignment. All of us thought can relax after 10am. Today when all of the assignment model is bring into class. Our CT2 lecturer comment on our model works and most of the model being rejected cause did not meet his requirement. Our lecturer is an architect so the outcome for us is not as nice as he wanted. But honestly, as a year 1 construction student that is quite a hard challenge for us to build a model to meet the architect requirement. We do not have very much experience to build an architecture model. What can we submit today is the best so far we can do. Now is the end week 13. Still have 1 technical drawing assignment not complete yet. Rebuild or Reconstruct the assignment model will totally kill our time. Some more still got a presentation for CT2 assignment proposal. I have not try to be so worry and rush for assignment before. Now my uni life is become more and more hectic. Haiz, the final is approach. The end of the final exam mean the start of the new sem and what I experience before will repeat at the coming sem. 3 years uni life. 3 sem each year and same life for all. Why construction student need to busy until the ending of the sem but not for other like accounting student they have finish all their lesson and test for a couple week ago. It this because we will build something that will occupied by human and our reckless and our careless will cause a hazardous factor to human life? I think this will be probably 1 of the reason why construction student should go through all of this. I always try to avoid getting this kind of hectic life. But the fact is I now on the path to construct a building and now I at half of the path. There is no time for me to turn back to restart my life. What I have to do is to work on it hard. Finish this journey is the only solution.

My thinking before regarding the profession courses such as architect, engineer, doctor, lawyer and etc have to change now. What I think is profession course is an expert and it sure will be a professional mark for my job. My name will start with Ar, Ir, or Dr. But now I realize this is not an easy path for my name to start with the profession title. I am not a determine people. It is impossible for lazy people to achieve all those honour. When I a person name start with the profession title, I will think that this person sure will be a clever guys and how much easy for a clever person to achieve the title but the fact is I do not see how much effort that person give for the honour that the person achieve now. It relate to a professional ethic of a person. You work hard then you are professional but if you are lazy. Please, just go back and have a sweet dream.

A professional must also stick to what you are doing now. Don't do something that are not inter-relate with your profession. In my view, a professional must be an expert in a particular field. Lack of knowledge or experience will be laughable by other and a shame of your profession title and body.
